Craig Gottlieb Militaria

REFERENCE ONLY. (SOLD or NOT FOR SALE)
The Luftwaffe Marksmanship Lanyards were introduced in 1936 and were awarded in 12 different grades. This is a perfect example of the Grade 3 lanyard. This is a very tough to find example with 2 acorns, which would have been worn by any Luftwaffe enlisted rank or NCO except those in the Flak branch (who used miniature artillery shells instead of acorns). The lanyard is in mint condition, with perfect silver aluminum braiding woven into the grey blue rayon cording. The finely detailed shield features the Luftwaffe eagle on a wreath. A choice and pristine piece just perfect for display with a Luftwaffe tunic.
