ON HOLD
Later war Luftwaffe pilot's badge by the unknown maker, assumed to be by FLL (Friedrich Linden, L?denscheid). Zinc alloy construction with the correct pattern eagle and wreath. Both eagle and wreath retain much of their original factory finish. The reverse is unmarked as it should be, and the badge features the correct flat rivets, sheet metal hinge in oval shape, wire pin, and catch. The very scarce cardboard factory box is textbook for the FLL zinc alloy badge and is in very good condition, with some minor tears and signs of age and handling. Considering these cardboard boxes were considered to be trash as soon as the badge was removed by the recipient, it has always been rare to find them. Fine set in better than usually found condition.
