A rare (possibly one time) opportunity to add a legendary piece of history to your collection: a colt .45 in well-preserved condition with period faux-ivory grips. The pistol belonged to Ralph Hickman Davis of East Providence, Rhode Island. He was a Staff Sergeant in the Tuskegee Army Air Corps during WWII. The chain of custody is unbroken, and was inherited by the veteran's son, who provided a signed and notarized document mentioning the serial number of the weapon. Included are copies of photographs from the family, as well as the family's contact information, should the new owner desire to pursue additional original material pertaning to SSGT Davis. The pistol itself shows minor holster wear on the edges, but shows no rust or pitting. Bore is bright, and gun is fully functional.
