About two years ago, we purchased a footlocker of material from the estate of Navy Cross winner and LT General Victor H. Krulak. For those of you not familiar with the history of this highly decorated Marine General, he saw action in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. The group was so large that we have chosen to break it down into sections (it took this long to read through everything in the foot-locker. This segment of the group contains the following artifacts:
Also included is a neat stamp made of ivory, and containing intricate carvings of Vietnam, Abraham Lincoln, the Gettysburg Address, and some Vietnamese writings (probably a translation of the Gettysburg Address. This is likely a souvenir he picked up while there. In summary, some very historic notes in the handwriting of Krulak, in addition to two military artifacts of importance.
