Excellent Luftwaffe sword in Near Mint condition, produced by the firm of Helbig.  This is a scarce producer of the sword, and the trademark is characteristically light, as it is on ALL of their products.  Plated blade has some very light corrosion on the edges in sections, and one tiny (2mm in length) corrosion area that covers the tip.  Exterior is nickel silver, and shows a matching, even patina.  Leather scabbard is almost perfect.  Leather covered grips show some minor abrasions, which would disappear if covered with a blue leather preservative, at the discretion of the new owner.  Leather hanger is broken on one side.
