Craig Gottlieb Militaria

This is a super set, with a nice Klein and Quenzer Iron Cross showing some wear. The detail is superb, the black magnetic center reflects the fact that the cross was actually worn by the original recipient, with some wear to the high points and some 'saltiness' to the finish. The tapered pin is correctly marked '65' indicating that this was an actual awarded cross, rather than a privately purchased replacement piece. The case is in mint, super condition, with no problems at all. I would say the original owner received the cross in the case, and wore the cross daily, but the case stayed in a drawer or other safe place, and was used occasionally for storage. A super set by one of the highest quality jewelers of the Reich!
