A 'Gösch' is the national flag that is flown while a ship is in harbor on Sundays and holidays. This is a very fine example of a Gösch that appears never to have been used, or used rarely. The size is perfect for display: 80X135, as marked on the bunting. This is about 31 1/2" by 53". The flag is reinforced on the edges and corners per regulations, and the bunting has the original halyard rope intact. Except for a tiny moth bite, the flag is mint. So, let's call it near mint. A perfect display with any III. Reich collection!
