Craig Gottlieb Militaria

REFERENCE ONLY. (SOLD or NOT FOR SALE)
An excellent, untouched 1939 Iron Cross II. Class with document.  The cross shows no wear or use but only storage dust and age, and comes with its unused ribbon in the original large blue award packet.  The ring is marked 128, indicating the maker was S. Jablonski G.m.b.H in Posen.  The EK document is an early awarding, dated October 1940 and awarded to Gefreiten Ludwig Schnabl  of Artillery Regiment 262.  The document is hand signed by Generalleutnant Edgar Thiesen, commander of the 262 Infantry Division and General of the Artillery.  The paper had been folded into 4ths at one point in time, most likely to carry in the Soldbuch or Wehrpass, but shows no tears.  A fine ensemble!
