A mint Spange 1st class made by Mayer. This beauty retains 100% of its factory frosted and burnished finish, and is the earlier style with veined wings. The pin, hinge, and catch are also textbook Mayer. The decoration is still housed in the original presentation case, which would be mint as well except for a small tear in the leatherette covering. The cover features a well detailed image of the award in silver. The rectangular push button and catch are still in factory mint condition. A magnificent example of the Spange 1st Class!
