A rare dedicated studio portrait photograph of Reichsführer SS Heinrich Himmler.  The portrait was given to Dr. Walther Funk (Minister of Economics, President of the Reichsbank) on the occasion of his birthday.  The portrait is a fantastic image of the Reichsführer with sharp enough details to see the bullion work of his collar tab!  He has written 'To Reichsminister Dr. Walther Funk, in heartfelt friendship, Berlin 18. VIII 1938' and signed 'H. Himmler' in his characteristic script.  As an extra bonus, Dr. Funk has signed the reverse, writing  'Birthday, 18. August 1938, Funk'.  An outstanding, one of a kind presentation piece concerning two famous (or infamous) personalities of the Third Reich!
