Originally acquired from a 101st Airborne veteran in the 1970s, the stemware purportedly came directly from the Berghoff. I purchased approximately 15 examples - all different types of glasses. This was the only matching pair of wine goblets, and was the highest quality of all of the pieces. Each glass exhibits a very crisp etch of the political eagle and Hitler's initials flanking the swastika. The etch is colored with gold. If you ask me what I would rather own, I'd pick this stemware over the AH pattern silverware any time.
