Card was used during Himmler's time as Reichsfuhrer in the early 1930s, before he assumed the additional duties as police leader. The "SS" is spelled out in gothic script, instead of the later runic variety. Note: There are two small pin-holes on the bottom left and top right of the card, where someone once pinned this to a bulletin board. Priced accordingly, despite the overwhelming rarity of this piece compared to the later version.
