REFERENCE ONLY. (SOLD or NOT FOR SALE)
This new branch of the Hitler Youth aimed at sending urban boys (and later girls) for one year to a farm for labor and training. This, it was hoped, would imbue them with a love of the land and, ideally, induce them to opt for it as a permanent way of life in years to come. It also had the side benefit of providing virtually free labor on German farms (both in the east, and in motherland Germany) to feed a nation that with militarization, saw greater demands placed on its ability to feed the population. This is the only example of this trumpet banner I have ever encountered, and besides a few small uniform insignia, is the only piece of ephemera from this group I have ever seen. I have no idea what it is worth, so I have priced it according to its rarity and condition. There are a few tiny moth holes, and one tiny separation of the stitching, but otherwise, the piece has survived intact quite well. This would be a perfect compliment to any Hitler Youth display, and would also hang wonderfully next to the other Hitler Youth banner I have currently for sale. Discount available if you buy both.
