They don't get much nicer than this! In fact, the Polizei 25 year long service cross is so minty it looks like it was made yesterday (but it wasn't!). The 1914 Iron Cross II. Class is a nice, sharp example with superb details to the core and beaded frame. The Hindenburg Cross with Swords retains its original lovely bronze finish. Last but not least is the sparkling, frosty 25 year Police Long Service Cross in mint condition with nicely factory polished highlights and the correctly mounted embroidered ribbon featuring the yellow police eagle. The ribbons are in fine condition with light age only. The pin, hinge, and catch are complete and undamaged. The only problem with this bar is the backing fabric, which appears to have been replaced with police green wool. It may have never been completed, or may have had the backing replaced due to wear or damage to the original fabric backing. It's an easy fix if you desire, as the wool appears period, but I left it as found. Still, it's a beautiful medal bar that will complement the finest police tunic.
