A super 40 Year Faithful Service Cross by Deschler, Munich. These awards were given to those working in state positions, such as the Post Office, Reichsbahn, Government offices, and so on. This is an early piece of superior construction and materials, and has a nice, ruddy fire gilt finish. The cross has a flawlessly enameled swastika, original ribbon and pin attachment, and comes in its Deschler marked hard case with push button. Not a rare piece, but a fine specimen and budget priced.
