Craig Gottlieb Militaria

REFERENCE ONLY. (SOLD or NOT FOR SALE)
This is one of my favorites, as it implies that the enlisted man (firing the rifle) has charged out into no-mans-land to save his wounded officer from death (he's the one firing the pistol). The artist is Riesenberg, and the date is 1918. Size is 20x29 inches. This poster makes an excellent series along with the other WWI posters. In my opinion, these are extremely undervalued; the price defies logic. This poster has been treated to neutralize the acid embedded in the paper-fiber present in paper material of this vintage. This preserves the poster permanently. Additionally, they have been professionally mounted on conservation grade canvas, which increases the value of the poster significantly and reduces wear and tear to your investment.
