REFERENCE ONLY. (SOLD or NOT FOR SALE) Unissued set of hangers for a Luftwaffe Dagger. They are the deluxe type, featuring an oakleaf-embellished upper suspension device and connector clips. Original heavy plastic tag features the town of Rennerod, a city in the Rhineland Palatinate. The tag shows the coat of arms for Rennerod. The phrase hui wäller allermol which appears at the bottom of the tag is the motto of the Westerwaldverein since 1913. The phrase is still used in the region as a kind of funny salute. One person who, for example, enters a bar, might shout "Hui Wäller?" People would reply "Allemol." Roughly translated: "Any Westerwälder in here?" "For sure!" Hanger is in near mint condition, with yellowing lacqueur that is commonly found on Luftwaffe hangers (the yellow is often confused with Luftwaffe General coloring, which it is not).
