Craig Gottlieb Militaria

Biography. Born in Miami, Florida in 1971, Craig graduated from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, receiving a degree in Philosophy (with honors). Craig served in the Marine Corps, achieving the rank of Major. Craig received his first piece in the late 1970s, and has been collecting ever since. Currently living in Southern California, Craig is enjoying his 10th year as a full-time military antiques dealer.
 
Craig is a MAX and OVMS Life Member, and is a two-time featured speaker for The MAX Show. Craig is the architect of the MAX/GDC certified dealer program, and is a MAX certified dealer. Craig founded Germandaggers.com in 1999 and has been dealing for 10 years. He is a sponsor and Life Member of Wehrmacht-Awards.com, and a Life member of The Ohio Valley Military Society (OVMS) and MAX. Craig has won "Best of Show" at The Military Extravaganza Show in Charlotte, NC.

CGM offices are open most weekdays, and Craig encourages visitors to the office, where most of the inventory on the website can be seen and handled. Craig has been featured in The Washington Post, The New York Times, Forbes Magazine, and has published several articles on collecting for The Military Trader Magazine. His book on Totenkopf Rings, and his latest book entiteld History's Jackpot, is available on this website or amazon.com. His third book, focusing on Gau Decorations, will hit the streets in 2010.
